The City of St. Petersburg has begun the process to prepare a new comprehensive Master Plan for the Albert Whitted Airport. The last master plan for the airport was conducted in 2005. Since that time there have been a number of changes at the airport and in the surrounding community, as well as within the aviation industry.

FINAL MASTER PLAN DOCUMENTS NOW AVAILABLE

On June 15, 2023, the St. Petersburg City Council unanimously approved the Albert Whitted Airport Master Plan and associated Federal Aviation Administration approved Airport Layout Plan (ALP) Drawing set. The Albert Whitted Airport Master Plan and ALP Drawing set can be downloaded from the Documents Tab of this website. These documents contain all chapters, appendices, and drawings developed during the master plan process.
