The City of St. Petersburg has begun the process to prepare a new comprehensive Master Plan for the Albert Whitted Airport. The last master plan for the airport was conducted in 2005. Since that time there have been a number of changes at the airport and in the surrounding community, as well as within the aviation industry.

Surveys for general aviation users, fixed base operators/service providers, and the general public can be found under the “Public Participation” tab and can be submitted online, or to the address on the survey. Keep an eye on this website, as well as the City’s website www.stpete.org, for future developments and updates.

AIRPORT MASTER PLAN PUBLIC OUTREACH

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Albert Whitted Airport Master Plan project, including the planned Public Open House #2, has been delayed. Please check this site regularly for updates.

Working Paper #4 Now Available

The fourth working paper of the Albert Whitted Airport Master Plan process can be downloaded from the Documents tab of this website. This document contains Chapter 7: Airport Layout Plan and Chapter 8: Airport Development Program. As with all elements of the master plan study, comments and/or suggestions can be submitted via the methods described under the Public Participation tab.
